The Protect committee educates the archival community about protecting archives in the context of climate change. As part of its mission, the committee operates in a spirit of reactive response to currently unfolding disasters and proactive advocacy to help archives prepare for future threats.

Reduce Committee

The Reduce committee aims to inform archivists on strategies to lessen their professional carbon and ecological footprint.

Preserve Committee

The Preserve committee engages with climate scientists and activists to ensure the long-term preservation of this moment in history for future research and understanding.

Elevate Committee

The Elevate committee aims to highlight relevant collections to improve public awareness and understanding of climate change.
